Indie developer @yihuiindie shared that they casually recorded a few minutes of talking-head footage, handed it to the AI video editing tool ChatCut with a single prompt, and got a fully edited video in about 6 minutes — ready to publish. The post reportedly brought 20,000 new followers on Xiaohongshu in one day.
For creators, this shows how mature the "talking head + AI auto-editing" workflow has become, drastically cutting video production costs.
