AI video recreates Columbus's 1492 landing proclamation from his actual journal
aeeiee · reddit · 2026-10-13
An AI-generated short, "Christopher Columbus Part 1: The Proclamation," recreates Columbus's 1492 landing in a classical painting style — kneeling figure, fleet, and banners — with on-screen text quoting his actual journal: "In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ."
Marked as part one of a series, it shows how AI video can be used to recreate historical narratives from primary sources.
