DSPy 3.4.1 ships GEPA structured proposer as default and RLM sub-agents
dbreunig · x · 2026-10-13
- DSPy 3.4.1 makes GEPA's structured InstructionProposer (add instructions, length limits, compact traces) the default, so optimization results may differ from 3.4.0.
- dspy.RLM can now build DSPy sub-agents from inside its REPL; every RLM prompt gains a sub-agent section and maxllmcalls counts sub-agent calls.
- Also: Python 3.15 support, fix for the 3.4.0 import crash, streaming/adapter/interpreter fixes; reflection LM must be a JSON-capable dspy.LM; legacy LM interfaces are on a 3.5 removal path.
