chris_j_paxton · x · 2026-10-13
The first-ever Origami Challenge, hosted by BitRobot Network with Sharpa Robotics at IROS 2026, tasked robot teams with folding a paper airplane — an unforgiving test of dexterous manipulation policies. 14 global teams made the final round. No one fully nailed the task, but chrisjpaxton notes substantial progress was made, with excitement for next year's edition.
