Swarms makes the case: Collective Superintelligence will surpass AGI and ASI

The Swarms team published a blog arguing that Collective Superintelligence (CSI), not a single model, is AI's endgame:
- Core claim: The industry bets that intelligence scales as one mind, but history's most powerful intelligences are collectives — economies, scientific knowledge, the internet were never designed by individuals. Civilizations beat geniuses, every time.
- What CSI is: Not copies of one chatbot but a network of heterogeneous specialized agents connected by explicit coordination structures (hierarchies, debates, pipelines, markets) with shared memory and division of labor. Intelligence lives in the topology as much as the agents.
- Argument axes: Parallelism, reasoning depth, fault tolerance, memory, and specialization — collectives win on all five while creating more economic value.
- Key pitch: Unlike AGI, CSI doesn't require waiting — the primitives exist today.
