X Launches Five-Tier Subscription Bundling Grok and Cursor, Up to $200/Month
SpaceXSI · x · 2026-10-13
X officially rolled out "The X Subscription," consolidating its plans into five tiers: Free ($0), Plus ($8), Premium ($30), Super ($100), and Ultra ($200), plus Teams ($30+/user/month) and Enterprise (custom). Current subscribers can keep their plan or switch, linking their Grok, Cursor, and X accounts; rollout is gradual, so users should check billing settings for availability and limited-time offers.
Key differences:
- Plus $8: shared AI usage pool across products, including Grok Chat/Voice/Imagine/Build, Grok API, and Cursor, plus X Premium checkmark, fewer timeline ads, creator tools, and advanced analytics.
- Premium $30: 4x Plus usage, Grok Bot, latest Grok models, faster responses, image/video generation, code hosting and AI code reviews, cloud agents and automations; ad-free scrolling on most surfaces, preferred @handle, higher reply boost.
- Super $100: 15x Plus usage, priority model access at peak times.
- Ultra $200: 50x Plus usage.
X says each tier delivers more usage-per-dollar of its own models than the comparable plan it replaces. Third-party models in Cursor are billed separately at API list price and not included; prices exclude taxes, and plans can be canceled anytime at least 24 hours before renewal.
