A Google DeepMind Robotics leader announced the team is hiring a Research Scientist in Pretraining and Data Quality in London. He argues data quality and mixtures are among the most important ingredients for robotics learning, welcoming candidates from robot policy learning or multimodal pre-training (e.g. VLMs) backgrounds.
