GitHub released Copilot CLI v1.0.97-0 with agent-scoped declarative hooks for custom agents and default inline image rendering in supported terminals. The release also fixes resume-time replay of canceled writes, secret redaction in JSON output, MCP tool-caching races, and plugin hook rebuilding issues, and surfaces billed AI Credits in /usage.
