Broadcom optical roadmap: TH6 hits 102.4T in 2026, next-gen OCI by 2028

Broadcom shared its optical interconnect roadmap at OCP Global Summit 2025, covering XPU/Switch/DSP/Optics building blocks and VCSEL, EML, CWL, CPO, and OCI modules for short-reach, long-reach, and AI scale-out/scale-up networking.
The photonics progression: TH4 Humboldt (2022, 100G/lane, 25.6T) → TH5 Bailly (2024, 51.2T) → TH6 Davisson (2026, 200G/lane, 102.4T) → next-gen OCI/CPO in 2028.
