PageIndex released SDK v0.4.0 with optimized tree generation, claiming tree indexing is now cheaper than vector indexing for the first time: in a 1,000-page financial report benchmark, PageIndex powered by GPT-6 Luna achieved 15% lower indexing costs than vector indexing with Gemini Embedding 2, with better retrieval.
