Dev builds Overflow to turn spare Claude weekly usage into GitHub issue bounties
Nitjsefnie · reddit · 2026-10-13
Reddit user Nitjsefnie open-sourced Overflow, a MIT-licensed mutual-credit system for leftover LLM weekly usage that would otherwise evaporate at reset. In a spare week, you pick a priced GitHub issue and earn credit on merged PR; in a dry week, you price issues in your repo and others ship them. Anti-spam design: set price after seeing the work, each review round costs the contributor credit, pay only for merged PRs — no keys, no money, no paid tier. Early stage: 19 users, all 25 open issues from the author's own repos. Source: github.com/Nitjsefnie/Overflow.
