Blind developer built an accessible iPhone weather radar app, now at v5.0, mostly with ChatGPT

A totally blind weather enthusiast shipped Severe WeatherGuardian 5.0, an iPhone app built largely with ChatGPT's help, starting from a small MCP project. Highlights: a VoiceOver Touch Explorer for live radar (drag a finger to hear conditions), Radar Coach spoken explanations, NWS alerts, severe weather outlooks, hurricane and wildfire tracking, widgets, plus new AI voice control and optional conversational AI. Free with an optional Plus subscription — a striking example of AI-assisted development by a user who can't see the UI he's building.
