Ramp CTO to Discuss Internal Coding Agent Behind ~75% of Merged PRs
graceisford · x · 2026-10-13
A NYC community event will feature Ramp CTO Rahul Sengottuvelu in conversation about building AI agents for high-stakes legal and finance work.
Rahul co-founded Cohere.io in 2020 (pre-ChatGPT), which Ramp acquired in 2023; he became CTO in June. His AI portfolio includes:
- Ramp Stack: an AI operating system automating the monthly close for accounting firms
- Ramp Inspect: the in-house coding agent behind roughly three-quarters of Ramp's merged PRs
- Ramp Router: an internal LLM gateway run for three years before launching as a product
The talk will also cover training agents in non-verifiable domains and earning customer trust when mistakes are costly.
