Meta Muse gains access to approved company tools via Merge's governed MCP endpoint

Merge.dev CEO Shensi Ding announced that Meta's personal AI agent Muse can now reach company-approved tools through Merge for Workforce. Muse browses the web, acts across connected apps, and keeps running after the app closes, handling delegated task chains like calendar and email. Merge solves the enterprise problem of rebuilding identity, access, and audit controls per agent: a single governed MCP endpoint lets IT decide which tools are available, apply security rules to each action, and log every call — while employees keep the agent they prefer. Merge ships hundreds of self-built connectors with clear tool definitions and deep action coverage, instead of inheriting whatever public MCP servers expose.
