A viral Threads chart (300k+ views) showing AfD posting activity dropping 30–56% after Russian data centers were hit was labeled "AI-generated" by the platform. Journalist Jan Vollmer traced the chart to its original source (Yandex bot traffic monitoring) and consulted cemasio and Polisphere, who both said they see no drop in bot activity; he wrote a factcheck for Capital Magazin. The incident highlights mislabeling risks in platform AI-content detection.
