Opus 5.5 built an 8-slide animated watch explainer with truly meshing gears in 26 minutes

A Reddit user showcased an 8-slide animated deck built with Opus 5.5 in Claude Code explaining how a mechanical watch keeps time: mainspring, gear train, escapement, balance wheel, hands, winding, then the whole movement running together. Every drawing is SVG driven by one shared clock, so meshing gears keep their ratios and the escape wheel only steps when the pallet fork flips. Single 40 KB HTML file, arrow-key navigation.
How it was made: using the slide workflow from SenseNova-Skills (MIT), the model writes an outline and design plan, then builds each slide, renders it, and inspects the image before moving on — every slide got at least two looks, catching drawings spilling outside the case and colliding labels. The brief specified only the 8 topics, ≤35 words per slide, no photos or outside assets. Total build time: 26 minutes.
