OpenBMB released and open-sourced MiniCPM-V 4.7 in a 1B variant (GGUF available), claiming a new performance-efficiency Pareto frontier: it outperforms Qwen3.5 0.8B on both overall score and inference efficiency. Built on LLaVA-UHD v4's intra-ViT early visual token compression with mixed 4x/16x compression, it supports iOS/Android/HarmonyOS, day-0 chip support for Rockchip, Houmo, Intel, AMD, and Arm, major inference/fine-tuning frameworks, GGUF through FP8 quantization, and a new Self-Replay Fine-Tuning method to extend capabilities with less forgetting.
