Folding-laundry robot demo draws a simple ask: put it in the drawer
ThePeterMick · x · 2026-10-13
A demo of a laundry-folding robot drew praise but also a concrete wish: the next level would be having it carry the folded laundry into a chest of drawers. The poster joked "I'm not asking too much am I???" and offered to be the first customer if someone builds it.
A small but telling signal of how far consumer home robots still are from end-to-end usefulness.
