ByteDance Unveils Data-Space Iteration, Its Third Few-Step Distillation Method
Total-Resort-3120 · reddit · 2026-10-13
ByteDance released a new paper, "Few-Step Generation via Data-Space Iteration," its third few-step generation method in recent weeks after DuoMatching and PDMD. Unlike flow-renoise or flow-map approaches that iterate in noise or intermediate timesteps, this method iterates directly in data space (G(x̂₀⁽ʳ⁾, z, r) → x̂₀⁽ʳ⁺¹⁾), repeatedly refining the generated output. Paper: arXiv 2610.12102.
