Fork-and-Flush: escaping agent tunnel vision by forking with empty context, basin-hopping style

Dimitris Papail argues the strongest counter to "agents do random search" is how efficient Idea Descent is: agents reach SOTA artifacts within 100 experiment steps that whole communities couldn't find. But agents develop tunnel vision, like GD stuck in a local minimum. His fix, Fork-and-Flush: periodically fork the agent into T copies in the same workspace with emptied context, let them run, then continue from the best — analogous to basin hopping in gradient descent.
