robot-heads: a free MIT React component that gives your AI agent a face
victor_explore · x · 2026-10-13
robot-heads is a free, MIT-licensed React component that replaces the boring 'thinking...' spinner with an animated LED robot face. It supports 9 states (idle, thinking, searching, listening, speaking, working, happy, error, sleeping), 4 head shapes, customizable shell/trim/screen colors, and is drawn on 2D canvas with no WebGL or runtime deps. Pipe your agent's status into the state prop; playground generates the JSX.
