Brain microprotein atlas with 1,000+ microproteins lands on Hugging Face
huggingface · x · 2026-10-13
A new atlas of microproteins in the human brain is now on Hugging Face, aggregating more than 1,000 microproteins — including one that is reduced in Alzheimer's and appears to play a role in how the brain's immune cells produce energy. The release includes the dataset (brmiller/brain-microprotein-atlas, 14.4k rows, 5.7 GB), an associated paper, and a HF Space for exploration.
