Stripe Wants to Co-Design a 0-1 Click Pay-Per-Consumption Flow for Content Businesses
jeff_weinstein · x · 2026-10-12
Stripe's Jeff Weinstein is recruiting content businesses that currently monetize with ads to prototype a pay-per-consumption model: charge users a fair price per consumption or sell small credit packs, with a 0- or max-1-click checkout flow co-designed by Stripe.
He acknowledges it won't fit every business, but argues that driving transaction friction and cost to near zero could unlock a new type of internet discovery and usage. Interested parties can email [email protected].
