EmbeddingGemma 2 lands on Hugging Face, giving science projects a free accuracy boost

Google's EmbeddingGemma 2 is now out on Hugging Face. The first EmbeddingGemma spawned a wave of AI for Science projects — medical Embedding Gemma 300M, Geo-Gemma, Oncology-Gemma, EmbeddingGemma PubMed — and existing projects can gain a free accuracy boost simply by swapping in the new backbone, while the update opens the door to new science applications.
