ColGrep-Agent-2B: open local multi-vector search model built for coding agents
IgorCarron · x · 2026-10-12
raphaelsrty introduced ColGREP, a hybrid multi-vector search tool for coding agents that combines grep features with multi-vector retrieval, running 100% locally. The team open-sourced a 2B-parameter ColGREP expert model that serves as a model-in-the-middle: a tiny local agent searches and reads a local index, handing locations and code back to the cloud frontier LLM without code leaving the machine.
