Ai2 and Hugging Face host Open Together: open source AI community party kicks off Open Source AI Week in SF

Ai2 and Hugging Face are co-hosting Open Together on Friday, Oct 16 at The Midway in San Francisco — the opening-night party of Open Source AI Week, free for everyone.
Schedule: 6–9pm meetup with community demos and light bites, then a DJ dance party until midnight. Co-hosts include Jeff Boudier (Hugging Face), Arcee AI, Joseph Spisak (Ai2), Unsloth AI, Nous Research, vLLM, LMSYS, GitHub and others, sponsored by Arcee AI and Reflection AI. The first 100 builders get collectible HF swag; 36 HF Spaces demo slots are open for applications (due Oct 2), and nearly 1,700 have already RSVPed. Motto: "The AI revolution will not be centralized!"
