Data engineers who learn RAG can land big AI-engineering pay jumps, veteran says

Across 50+ interviews, he noticed many job descriptions demand Databricks together with RAG. His take: data engineers with 3+ years of experience who pick up RAG have the easiest path into AI engineering with a major salary hike, since demand far outstrips supply for that profile right now.
