Graylark's Raven lets police pinpoint a specific home from a single interior photo
404 Media · rss · 2026-10-12
Per 404 Media, Graylark Technologies' AI tool Raven (formerly GeoSpy, purchased by LAPD and Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office) now geolocates interior photos: from a single image with no metadata, it can pinpoint the exact property in seconds — demos show it matching Airbnb, Vrbo and Zillow listings. It's not reverse image search; it identifies interior features and finds other photos of the same property on real-estate sites. CEO Daniel Heinen says the capability emerged accidentally during red-teaming. Airbnb and Zillow say scraping violates their terms; Airbnb is reviewing the case. Meta AI head Alexandr Wang was an angel investor.
