AGIBOT G2 humanoid robot joins Shanghai hospital as OR nurse assistant
CyberRobooo · x · 2026-10-12
Fudan University Affiliated Jinshan Hospital has deployed an AGIBOT G2 humanoid robot on the operating-room floor as a pilot "nurse assistant." It won't touch a scalpel — instead it handles process-integrity tasks: verifying patient wristbands against the hospital system, walking patients to the right room, and keeping the three-way checklist on screen with full traceability, plus RFID instrument counts during surgery.
The operator calls it a pilot project aimed at validating the workflow and paving the way for high-quality data to feed back into the system.
