No extra head needed: Hugging Face scores decisions straight from base model logits
LysandreJik · x · 2026-10-12
Lysandre explains the design behind /v1/systemone: instead of training classification/reward/value heads on top of a model, they leverage existing architectures directly — softmax over candidate logits (e.g. billing 0.03 / technical 0.94 / sales 0.03). Caveat: outputs are uncalibrated, so logits aren't as interpretable as dedicated decision models.
