aitrendz_xyz · x · 2026-10-12
This follow-up to the original REA post links the GitHub repo. REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) is an open-source MCP tool that lets Claude Code or Codex reverse engineer any app down to native binaries: it explains how each feature works, handles native apps, websites, APKs, firmware and smart contract bytecode, backs claims with evidence, and rebuilds its own version of features. The repo currently shows 132k stars, 29.5k forks and 2,491 commits under an MIT license, with topics spanning ghidra, hopper, decompilation, static analysis and MCP. Setup via npx rea-agents setup.
