The 2026 International Embodied Intelligence Skills Contest runs October 23–25 in Shanghai, guided by the WAIC organizing committee and hosted by the Shanghai AI Industry Association and CESI.
- Built on 1,000+ real-world scenario entries collected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the contest spans 9 tracks and 23 events across manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, emergency response and more, targeting 1,000+ competing teams.
- A unified 100-point evaluation framework covers task execution, embodied data collection/feedback, autonomy and innovation, with differentiated scoring for humanoid, quadruped and wheeled platforms in autonomous vs. teleoperated modes.
- Each event awards 10,000 RMB for first place; winning teams can also access tens of millions of RMB in intended investment and a showcase pipeline through GDPS, Dubai's Middle East AI expo, and WAIC 2027.
- Follow-up national simulation and real-scene contests run from November 2026 through June 2027. Registration is open.
