Typed Decision on EmbeddingGemma 2: 100x fewer params, only ~6 pts behind a 27B LLM
tomaarsen · x · 2026-10-12
mrm8488 released Typed Decision, a model fine-tuned on EmbeddingGemma 2 (EG2): given a state plus any schema of questions, it outputs typed, calibrated answers (choice · score · null)—no text generation, no output parsing.
It scores 76.4% on typed-decisions, roughly 6 points behind a 27B LLM with 100× fewer parameters. tomaarsen notes EG2 is tiny, efficient and multimodal, and handles video without processing every frame, making it a great base. The model is open-sourced on Hugging Face.
