ChatGPT mobile apps can now open straight to Your Dot by default

ChatGPT's mobile apps on both Android and iOS now let you set the app to open directly to "Your Dot" instead of the default chat screen — a notable quality-of-life improvement.
The setting lives under Settings > General > Start screen. The author notes they'd still like a home screen shortcut and a widget for even faster access.
