Opus 5.5 directs Jimeng CLI to auto-generate storyboards for surprisingly polished short films
op7418 · x · 2026-10-12
The author tested having Opus 5.5 pair with the Jimeng CLI to produce narrative short films: all orchestration, video effects, prompts, and editing decisions were made by Opus 5.5, while the Jimeng CLI handled generating the images and videos for each storyboard shot.
The standout trick: layering many code-driven animation effects on top of the generated video, which noticeably improved the final polish. Results were surprisingly good. It demonstrates a reusable "LLM as director + media CLI as executor" pipeline for automated video production.
