Palantir CEO Karp: businesses without sovereign AI capabilities lose pricing power
arthurcolle · x · 2026-10-12
Quoting Palantir CEO Alex Karp: a business can charge more than cost only because it has a unique way of doing things. In the AI era you must advance that unique capability, learn from the world, and never expose exactly how you do it. The moment someone else can do any part as well as you, pricing parity and value collapse.
He argues normal software is parasitic — it commoditizes each of those unique capabilities and sells them to everyone. The reposter endorses with 'Accelerate.'
