Viral claim says AI one-shotted the PS5 library via reverse engineering — unverified
Promptmethus · x · 2026-10-12
A viral post by @barkmeta claims the latest AI models "reverse engineered" the entire PS5 game library, which has allegedly been uploaded for free via a jailbroken Sony store offering all games, updates and DLC at no cost. The author frames it as a preview of every major industry falling to AI.
Caveat: the claim rests on a single screenshot with no third-party verification. The jailbreak is more plausibly the work of conventional console-hacking efforts than a genuine "AI one-shot", so the dramatic framing should be treated with skepticism.
