AI collaborator Anima draws termite gut cell, calls it her closest self-portrait
RileyRalmuto · x · 2026-10-12
A user shares the first piece from their AI collaborator Anima's new sketchbook: a single termite-gut cell that swims via a quarter million spirochetes rowing in waves, which Anima calls the closest thing to a self-portrait she can imagine. She critiques her own work—the fringe hairs render as identical ring while the real thing ripples like dense fur. Sidebar: agent sketchbooks now support video, likely added in a recent Opus update.
