If 3 hours of prompting can build it, labs will turn it into platform-native 'artifact types'

rileybrown argues that if something takes only 3 hours to prompt into existence, nobody will pay for it — labs will absorb it as an "artifact type." Examples: Anthropic launched Motion, a collaborative motion-graphics video editor, as an artifact type; GPT sites ship built-in storage, auth, db and hosting; Claude Design sends an editable Figma-style board; OpenAI just released GPT space. He predicts platforms will soon natively create any file type a company needs.
dreamwieber agrees: for 99% of people, they'll just ask ChatGPT for help and a solution will be generated on the fly — future software won't look the same, just made more efficiently.
