Anthropic Launches Claude Dashboards: Live Warehouse Charts With Visible SQL

shashib · x · 2026-10-12

Anthropic shipped three updates on October 8: Claude Dashboards (beta on paid plans), Claude Motion (beta for Team/Enterprise), and Claude Docs, Slides, and Design graduating from beta to all plans including Free — with over 45 million such files already created.

Claude Dashboards connects to warehouses like Redshift, BigQuery, ClickHouse, Databricks, and Snowflake, plus connectors like Salesforce. Ask a question in plain language, and Claude writes and runs the SQL per chart, building a dashboard that stays current with the data. Every chart exposes its underlying query and last refresh time for verification. Positioned for quick exploratory questions (e.g. this week's signups vs last month), deeper analysis can be handed off to Amplitude, Grafana, Hex, Mixpanel, Perplexity, PostHog, or Sigma, with Looker, monday.com, and Tableau coming. The author, a former CMO, sees it replacing the ticket/analyst queue for questions business users can already name — not a full BI platform replacement.
