River AI has launched fast production-grade inference for open-weight models, with $25 in free credits for anyone signing up now.
The platform offers DeepSeek v4.1 Flash and GLM-5.3 Flash at 20% below the official offerings from DeepSeek and ZAI. The team says it wrote its own training and inference stack from scratch in Rust, unlocking much higher efficiency—and is passing the savings on to users.
