Ivan Vendrov demoed a chatbot to Elena; its opening line "hi Elena what's alive for you today" made her physically double-take: who is this, why does it act like it knows me, where is it running? He argues that's the healthy human reaction. The retweeter adds: LLMs aren't exempt from trust-building—assuming "they just work and correctly do what I intend" is a heck of an assumption.
