Musk backs Grok Bot as AI agents that snag sold-out iPhone 18 Pro Max a month early

Elon Musk endorsed X Corp's newly launched Grok Bot app, describing it as "a super smart employee who works 24/7 and is extremely resourceful."
The quoted real-world case: a user handed Grok Bot a virtual card and asked it to find a sold-out iPhone 18 Pro Max — even Apple said he'd wait until late October. The bot emailed stores, found one in stock, verified and ordered it, and had it delivered roughly a month ahead of the official channel.
Per the App Store listing, Grok Bot is an autonomous agent that logs into your tools (CRMs, ad managers, inboxes, vendor portals), completes multi-step workflows end to end, runs multiple bots in parallel, and syncs across iOS and desktop. Free with in-app purchases.
