Andriy Burkov released an English edition of Microprocessors: Fundamentals and Applications (Valdivieso & Solís Mesa, 2018), which had existed only in Spanish for 8 years. He processed the book with his own high-accuracy PDF-to-Markdown converter, then used Codex to translate not just the text but all Spanish-language diagram labels in illustrations. Codex was also tasked with side-by-side comparison of illustrations against the original to verify translation accuracy. Finally, he converted all exercises into AI-tutor-friendly versions that guide readers through problems without solving them, paired with interactive simulations.
