AI-generated reports are drowning bug bounty queues; Bug Bunny open-sources its triage skill
evijit · x · 2026-10-12
Bug bounty queues are drowning in AI-generated reports, and platforms, programs, triagers and researchers all pay the cost. Security firm Bug Bunny open-sourced the agent skill it uses internally (120 stars on GitHub):
- End-to-end validation: reproduces each finding, separating observed evidence from inference
- Severity escalation: pushes valid bugs to their highest defensible impact — e.g. a DOM XSS escalated to full account takeover — without overstating
- Three-color verdict: 🟢 validated, ready to submit; 🟡 needs more work; 🔴 do not submit
The skill produces concise, evidence-heavy Markdown reports and is explicitly restricted to systems you're authorized to test.
