Three.js to Kaigen port of Claude of Duty: 6x FPS, 21k fewer lines of code
gdechichi · x · 2026-10-12
A developer ported mattshumer's Three.js procedural FPS 'Claude of Duty' to Kaigen, a cross-platform 3D engine written in C. Results: 6x faster FPS, 5x faster load time, 21k fewer lines of code, and it runs on every platform including mobile. Like the original, it has zero art assets — all geometry and materials are generated in code at load.
