Agents won't just build apps — they'll replace them with on-demand UI for everything
dreamwieber · x · 2026-10-12
An X user sketches the consumer software endgame: instead of navigating apps and websites, people will simply ask one of two or three frontier agents — e.g. "I want to sell my house" — and get a purpose-built, easy-to-understand UI for the key decisions while the agent handles the rest. Pushing back on skeptics, he argues it's hard to imagine consumers not doing this within a few years, and that software as we know it may soon be a thing of the past.
