At the Abundance Longevity event, Matt Angle unveiled video of a Paradromics Connect-One clinical study participant communicating through imagined speech via the investigational Connexus Brain-Computer Interface.
The device records activity from individual neurons in the brain's speech-control region and decodes it into text and synthesized speech, aiming to restore communication for people who have lost the ability to speak.
