Minimax H3 ref2video Tested: Easier Than Replacement, Fails on Complex Poses
Suibeam · reddit · 2026-10-12
The author says using Minimax H3's ref2video for character replacement just works and is easier to manage than any replacement-based attempts fighting the model.
Side observation: the model struggles when it is physically awkward to fit something in. For example, with hair tied in a bun behind the head, Minimax struggles to lay the person on the floor — you have to tell it to untie the hair, which gets very difficult as complexity grows.
