Matt Pocock's Opus chief-of-staff skill runs 'bonkers' latency tests against OBS
mattpocockuk · x · 2026-10-12
Matt Pocock spent the weekend with Opus running his experimental /chief-of-staff skill, which tries to replace OBS with a homebrew video recorder. The agent autonomously orchestrated an elaborate verification routine: downloading its own video to his phone, propping it up to the camera, mic'ing it, recording the screen while playing sounds, then checking every input for latency and comparing against OBS — a level of thoroughness Pocock says he'd never do manually.
